Attention middle school students… As we approach the season of home varsity basketball games, the administration would like to remind you of a few procedural items for middle school students attending these. First of all, all middle school students need to sit with either a parent OR in the designated student section by the pep band, in the rows above the h.s. student section. This expectation is in an effort to provide a quality experience for all fans in attendance at the games. Second, the expectation of the administration is that you are in the gymnasium when the game is in progress. The only two reasonable excuses to leave the gymnasium are to use the restroom or to purchase something from the concession stand. Other than these quick visits to the restroom or concession stand, you are to remain inside the gym while the game is being played. No students should be outside the gym congregating, playing tag, chasing, etc., while the game is going on. Students are not to hang out in the cafeteria or in the hallways. Additionally, EMS students planning on attending a high school athletic contest, should not be staying after school since these events do not start until 6:00 p.m. Please meet these expectations while attending and cheering on the Royals!
