- The Elmwood Wrestlers had a great showing at the District Wrestling Tournament. Elmwood Wrestling will be represented at the State Wrestling Championships for the 34th year in a row as Thomas Tyson qualified for the State Wrestling Championships as the District Champion at the Northwest Ohio District Tournament at Rossford. Peyton Schafer finished 5th and is the state alternate. Peyton has a chance to compete at the State Wrestling Championships and will travel with the coaches and Thomas to Columbus in hopes to get in the tournament.
